Terms of Use, Disclaimer & Privacy

Effective date: August 27, 2026 · Last updated: August 27, 2026

Who we are, and what Feasy does. Feasy is operated by Feasy Inc., an Idaho corporation. Feasy is a research and translation tool: it reads published zoning code, parcel records, and aerial imagery and puts them in plain language so you arrive at a professional already informed. Feasy does not determine what you may build. Only your jurisdiction, through its permitting process, determines that. Nothing Feasy produces is a zoning determination, a permit, a survey, or a professional opinion — where Feasy describes what the code generally allows, it is describing our reading of published code text, not making a finding about your property.

Coverage. Feasy currently operates only within the State of Washington and cites Washington State and local (e.g., Seattle Municipal Code) zoning and building provisions. Availability, data, and code coverage vary by jurisdiction and may be limited or unavailable for a given parcel.

1. Exploratory tool only. Feasy's maps, measurements, setbacks, floor-area, lot-coverage, and feasibility results are provided for general informational and exploratory purposes only. They have not been prepared for, and are not suitable for, legal, surveying, permitting, engineering, financing, or construction purposes.

2. Not professional advice. Feasy is software — not a licensed architect, engineer, land surveyor, attorney, or real-estate or financial advisor — and using Feasy does not create any professional-client relationship. Nothing in Feasy constitutes architectural, engineering, surveying, legal, zoning, financial, or investment advice. Always consult appropriately licensed professionals and your local permitting authority before acting.

3. Data sources & accuracy. Property lines, parcel boundaries, dimensions, aerial imagery, zoning designations, and code information are derived from third-party and public GIS and government sources that may be inaccurate, incomplete, generalized, or out of date. Boundaries and dimensions shown are approximate and are not a substitute for a recorded survey. Zoning and building codes, and their interpretation, change frequently and vary by jurisdiction, overlay, and site-specific conditions.

4. Your responsibility to verify. Before making any decision, offer, purchase, expenditure, or commitment, you are solely responsible for independently verifying all information against the primary sources — the applicable jurisdiction's currently adopted code, a recorded survey by a licensed surveyor, title and easement records, and the local permitting authority. Feasy is built for preliminary research and planning. Before you purchase property, begin construction, submit a permit application, or make any other material financial commitment in reliance on a Feasy result, verify the applicable requirements with the jurisdiction and appropriate licensed professionals.

5. No warranty. Feasy is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Feasy does not warrant that results are error-free or that any project shown will be permitted or approved.

6. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Feasy and its owners, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, Feasy or reliance on any information it provides, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Third-party content. Feasy may display or link to third-party data, services, or professionals. Feasy does not employ, supervise, certify, or endorse any professional or third party, and is not responsible for third-party content, and any dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.

8. Changes. Feasy may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, data, or these terms at any time without notice. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the then-current terms.

9. Data credits & attribution. Feasy is built on the following sources. Aerial imagery: U.S. Geological Survey / USDA National Agriculture Imagery Program (public domain); King County aerial imagery © King County, displayed with permission. Parcels & property records: King County GIS and King County Department of Assessments (public records). Zoning & code layers: City of Seattle open data. Elevation & terrain: USGS 3DEP; hydrography: USGS National Hydrography Dataset. Geocoding: provided by Geocodio; underlying address data includes © OpenStreetMap contributors (available under the Open Database License), U.S. Census Bureau TIGER/Line data (public domain), and USPS® data — Feasy is neither approved nor endorsed by the United States Postal Service. Building footprints: existing structures are shown from public agency footprint data — City of Seattle Open Data and FEMA/DHS USA Structures — and, where Feasy's own building layer is enabled, from Microsoft Building Footprints: Building footprints © Microsoft, CDLA-Permissive-2.0. Footprint positions are approximate, are not a survey, and are adjustable by you. Coverage, floor-area and feasibility figures Feasy computes from them are Feasy's own work.

10. Dispute resolution — mediation first, then arbitration (Idaho). Please read this section carefully; it affects how disputes are resolved. Before starting any proceeding you agree to contact us in writing and allow 30 days to resolve the matter informally. If that fails, the parties agree to non-binding mediation in Ada County, Idaho as a condition precedent to arbitration, with mediation fees shared equally. Any dispute not resolved in mediation shall be settled by final and binding arbitration in Ada County, Idaho before a single arbitrator under the Idaho Uniform Arbitration Act and the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules. Disputes are brought individually — to the maximum extent permitted by law you waive any class, collective, or representative proceeding. Either party may still bring a qualifying individual claim in small-claims court, or seek injunctive relief to protect intellectual property, without first mediating. Any claim must be brought within one year of arising. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, and for any matter not subject to arbitration the parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts of Ada County, Idaho.

Privacy Policy

P1. What we collect. Feasy collects the property address or parcel you enter, information you provide when creating an account or joining a notify/waitlist (such as your name and email), and basic usage and device data needed to operate and improve the service.

P2. How we use it. We use this information to run the feasibility tools, load your parcel, maintain your account, respond to you, notify you when coverage expands to your area, and improve Feasy. We do not sell your personal information.

P3. Third-party services. Feasy relies on third-party mapping, imagery, geocoding, and public GIS/government data providers to display parcels and codes; your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms and privacy practices. Feasy is not responsible for third-party data practices.

P4. Your choices & rights. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided to Feasy by contacting us at tryfeasy@gmail.com. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable measures to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Account & Subscription Agreement

This section applies if you create a Feasy account. It sits on top of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy above.

A1. Your account. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account and should tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.

A2. What an account gives you. Free: save the lots you research, keep your drawn structures, paving, trees and answers, and generate your readiness report. Paid — Create in 2D: unlocks the Create tools for drawing proposed structures and additions to scale on your lot and exporting the result.

A3. What Create in 2D is — and is not. What you produce is a study, not a construction document, permit set, or stamped drawing. It is not prepared under the responsible charge of a licensed architect or engineer, is not a survey, and cannot be submitted as a permit application. Feasy does not determine whether your design is permittable — that belongs to your jurisdiction. Feasy shows how a design measures against our reading of the published code so you can walk into a design or permitting conversation prepared. You own what you create; you grant Feasy a limited license to store and display it to run the service, and to share it with a professional only if you ask us to.

A4. Fees. Prices are shown at purchase in U.S. dollars, plus applicable tax. Paid features are a one-time purchase — there is no subscription, no automatic renewal, and no recurring charge. You are buying access for the specific property or properties shown at checkout; when that access is used up, nothing renews and nothing is billed unless you choose to buy again. Prices may change for future purchases, which never affects one you have already made. Payments are handled by our processor — Feasy does not receive or store full card numbers.

A5. Refunds. Except where required by law, a purchase is non-refundable once the property it unlocks has been opened. If you bought access for several properties, any you have not yet opened can be refunded on request. We will also refund a purchase if the paid feature was unavailable or did not work as described.

A6. Termination & export. You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account used to breach these terms, create legal or security risk, or resell or bulk-extract Feasy output. On termination you may request an export of your content for 30 days.

A7. Professional referrals. If Feasy connects you with a professional, Feasy is not a party to your engagement, does not supervise their work, and does not guarantee credentials, insurance, pricing, or results. Verify licensing and insurance yourself. Any compensation arrangement between Feasy and a professional will be disclosed.

A8. Disclaimers apply. The disclaimers and limitation of liability above apply in full to accounts and paid features. Paying for Feasy does not make its output a professional opinion or a determination of what may be built. Dispute resolution (Section 10) applies to this Agreement in full — informal resolution, then mediation, then individual arbitration in Ada County, Idaho.

By using Feasy you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use, this Disclaimer, this Privacy Policy, and — if you create an account — the Account & Subscription Agreement.
